Common Name: Chinese Lantern
 
Habit:  Abutilon grows up to 3m tall. The leaves on this evergreen shrub are similar to the maple leaf and are a blue/green colour.
Flowers: Red/orange blooms appear in Spring and last through summer and sometimes Autumn. they are bell shaped and are a little similar to hibiscus.
Care: Chinese Lantern is hardy and drought tolerant, preferring a sunny to part shade position.  Plant into well drained rich soil and prune as needed to encourage a bushier habit and increased flowering.
