Common Name: Aeonium
 
Habit: The Aeonium is native to the Canary Islands and has stout, branching stems up to over 1 meter tall. The long arching stems are topped with rosettes of fleshy, somewhat rounded leaves which can often look artificial with their metallic green colour. 
Flowers: In summer small clusters of star like flowers appear in the centre of the rosettes ending the life cycle of that particular stalk.
Care: A good container plant, use a regular potting mix and water regularly. In the garden, they look their best planted in groups,they can become 'leggy' so regular pruning is a good idea. Cuttings can be planted back into soil to make more plants for your garden.
Plant in full sun to part shade, in very hot desert conditions light shade is required. They can withstand light frost but nothing below -4 degC

طبيعة النبتة: قد يصل طولها 1م. تتميز سيقانها بشكل المميز الذي يتزين بأوراق على شكل وردة تتميز بلونها الأخضر.
طبيعة الزهرة: قد تظهر زهور صغيرة صفراء في منتصف أوراق النبتة في فصل الصيف.
العناية: يمكن زراعتها في الحديقة أو في أحواض. تفضل المناطق التي تتعرض للكثير من أشعة الشمس ولا تمانع القليل من الظل.
