Common Name: Mugworts, Silver mound plant
 
Habit: Artemisia grows up to 1 meter high and 3 meters wide. It's silvery, aromatic foliage is divided giving it a lacy appearance, this plant looks amazing beside white or blue flowering plants.
Flowers: Blooms are white and appear in summer, however these are insignificant amongst the foliage.
Care:  Artemisia likes a sunny position and is very drought tolerant making it perfect for rock gardens and dry landscapes, in fact too much moisture will cause the plant to die. Plant into average soil, too rich or too poor and it will cause splitting or dying off in the centre of the plant. Trim in midsummer around the time the flowers appear to help retain shape and plant fullness.
