Common Name: Chinese Violet
 
Habit: A South African native the chinese violet is spreading groundcover reaching 60cm in height. Leaves are egg shaped, a bright green colour and opposite on the stem.
Flowers: The 3cm long tubular flowers appear in long clusters. Each flower has 5 white petals with the lower having two parallel lines of purple blotches.
Care: Any kind of soil is fine for this plant with some added compost, water in particularly dry months but asystasia is generally drought tollerant. Plant in full to part sun and mulch well under and around the plant.

طبيعة النبتة:  تستخدم كغطاء أرضي قد يصل طولها ل60سم. تتميز اوراقها بشكلها البيضوي ولونها الأخضر الفاتح.
طبيعة الزهرة: تتميز بطولها وشكلها الأنبوبي حيث يصل طول الوردة ل3سم. تتميز الوردة بخمس بتلات بيضاء إثنتان منهما تملكان اللون البنفسجي. 
العناية: تعرف بتحملها للجفاف. تفضل المناطق التي تتعرض للكثير من أشعة الشمس. يمكن زراعتها في أي نوع تربة.
