Common Name: Saltbush
 
Habit: Native to Europe and North Africa, the saltbush grows up to 2m tall. The leaves are 5cm long, ovate and a silvery green colour.
Flowers: In the summer loose sprays of insignificant greenish flowers appear.
Care: Saltbush is extremely drought tolerant and can grow in very alkaline soils ensuring soil is well draining especially in the wintertime.  Plant in full sun, shade will make the plant leggy.

طبيعة النبتة: قد يصل طولها ل2م. تتميز أوراقها بشكلها البيضوي ولونها الأخضر المائل للفضي.
طبيعة الزهرة: تظهر ورود غير مهمة ذات لون أخضر في فصل الصيف.
العناية: تعرف بتحملها الشديد للجفاف. تفضل الأماكن التي تتعرض للكثير من أشعة الشمس ولا تحبذ المناطق المظلة.
