Common Name: Philippine Violet
 
Habit:  Native to south east Asia, this fast growing evergreen shrub reaches up to 1meter tall and around as wide. The leaves are narrow ovals and dark green on their upper sides and a light green underneath.
Flowers:  Blooming through summer and autumn the flowers on Barleria are around 5cm long, funnel shaped and violet, pink or white in colour.
Care: Requiring full sun or part shade the Barleria plant should be placed into a sandy to loamy soil with some added compost. During the dry season, moderate watering is required and prune after flowering.
This plant is cold tender will die back in winter and regrow in spring.

العناية: تفضل أن تزرع في المناطق التي تتعرض للشمس أو القليل من الظل. قد تجف النبتة في فضل الشتاء ولكنها تنمو من جديد في الربيع.
