Common Name: Trumpet Vine
 
Habit: Campsis is a vigorous climber which uses aerial roots to cling to walls and trellises quickly reaching 12 meters high, it is also excellent for erosion control. The serrated leaves are opposite on the stem, a dark shiny green on top and dull underneath.
Flowers: During summer and autumn widely flared trumpet shaped blooms appear. These 8cm long bright orange and red flowers form on new growth at the ends of branches. Flowers are followed by attractive bean-like seed pods.
Care: Campsis is heat and frost tolerant, however it is beneficial to prune the plant back hard for the winter. It does very well in lean to average soil which is moist and well drained. Planting in full sun will give the best flower production, however the plant will grow fine in partial shade.

العناية: تعرف بتحملها لدرجات الحرارة المرتفعة والمنخفضة ولكن من الأفضل أن تقلم في فصل الشتاء. تفضل أن تزرع في المناطق المشمسة ولكن قد تنمو في المناطق التي تتعرض للقليل من الظل.
