Common Name:  Canna Lilly
 
Habit: Immense paddle shaped leaves in green or bronze grow out of the stem in a long narrow roll then unfurl.  Height can reach up to 2-3 meters tall.
Flowers:  From late spring to frost tall heads appear with clusters of bright, lily-like flowers clustered in heads.  Deadheading will encourage more flowering, once flowers stop appearing prune the stalk back to ground level.
Care: Canna needs a lot of sun to do well. Choose a fertile moist soil and ensure a good supply of water taking extra care during dry spells, mulch to assist with water retention. After autumn frost blackens the leaves cut the plant right back and mulch for protection, in very severe winters lift the rhizomes for storage.

العناية: تفضل الكثير من أشعة الشمس. قص النبتة في الخريف قد يساعد على حمايتها.
