Common Name: Golden Medallion tree
 
Habit: This multitrunked tree reaches up to 8 meters high and 4 meters wide. The light green leaves appear as pairs of small leaflets along a central stem reaching up to 60 cm long. 
Flowers: Cassia plants need full sun in order to flower, in the summer it produces large pendulous sprays of golden flowers cascading down from the branches.
Care: Cassia will grow in any neutral soil and while they do like water a well drained soil is required. Leave a trough around the tree to collect water and irrigate regularly until established. Young trees need to be staked when young and pruned in order to encourage a fuller adult tree.
They are not a cold climate plant rarely surviving temperatures below -1 deg.C

طبيعة الزهرة: تفضل المناطق التي تتعرض للكثير من أشعة الشمس لأن ذلك يساعدها على الإزهار. تزهر ورود صفراء ذهبية متدلية.
العناية: لا تفضل الأماكن الباردة جدا. قد تحتاج إلى بعض المساعدة في بداية نموها.
