Common Name: Atlas Cedar.
Habit: A native to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, this large coniferous tree can reach heights of 18 meters in the home garden. It forms a pyramid shape when young and flat topped when mature, it is perfect for large gardens and parks. The foliage is a lovely silvery colour when young and ages to a vivid glaucus blue.
Flowers:  Blooms are soft yellow fingers; the cones are ovoid and release their seeds while still attached to the tree.
Care:  Preferring moist deep soil this tree can tolerate any type of soil provided it is well drained and a full sun location. Drought tolerant once well established and can withstand temperatures down to -25deg C.

طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر ورودا صفراء بيضاوية.
العناية: تتحمل الجفاف وتفضل المناطق التي تتعرض للكثير من أشعة الشمس.
