Common Name: Dusty Miller
Foliage: Native to Italy the Dusty Miller reaches up to 60cm tall. The foliage is silvery white and lobed giving it a lacey appearance.
Flowers: In summer, small Daisy like flowers in shades of purple, yellow or white appear at the ends of the branches. Generally these are removed to preserve the look of the foliage.
Care: Well drained soil is needed for this drought tolerant plant, it is also heat tolerant. Plant in full sun with some shade during the hottest part of the day in summer. Dusty miller is cold and frost senstive so this needs to be taken into account and prune after flowering to keep the plant tidy.
