Common Name: Mums
 
Habit: Native to Asia and northeastern Europe the well known Chrysanthemum comes in a variety of sizes and an amazing array of colours.  The leaves, which can be aromatic, are alternate and lobed to create an almost lacey appearance. 
Flower: Late summer and autumn bright spashes of colour appear at the ends of stalks. These flowers can be simple daisys or large double flowers. 
Care: Choose a fertile, sandy soil with good drainage as they do not like 'wet feet'. Ensure they get plenty of sun for best blooming.  When they reach around 15cm tall pinch out the tips to encourage a fuller more bush plant and again when they get up to around a meter. Use a liquid fertiliser ever 4-6 weeks.

العناية: لا تحبذ الكثير من الماء. تفضل المناطق التي تتعرض للكثير من أشعة الشمس. يفضل أن تقص أطرافها عندما يصل طولها ل15سم لأن ذلك يساعدها على النمو بشكل أفضل.
