Common Name:  Bleeding heart or Glorybower
 
Habit: This west African native is a well behaved vine which you can grow on a trellis or fence, alternatively as a ground cover. The oblong leaves are a shiny dark green and up to 17cm long.
Flowers:  Blooms are bell shaped white flowers with blood red tips which cover the vine in the summer.
Care:  Plant in part shade or dappled sun. Soil needs to be rich, fertile and moist but not soggy, during very dry periods water frequently.  Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser every 2 months or with a liquid fertiliser once a month.
If temperatures get to below 7degC the plant will be damaged, simply cut back and wait for spring and new growth will appear.  Keep the vine tidy by trimming during the growing season and just before spring growth begins remove wayward growth and winter damaged foliage.

العناية: تفضل المناطق التي تتعرض للقليل من الشمس والكثير من الظل. يفضل قص النبتة في المناطق الباردة جدا لأنها لا تتحمل درجات الحرارة المنخفضة جدا.
