Common Name: Cathedral Bells
 
Habit:  Cobaea has a lot of bright green oblong leaves. This vine is incredibly fast growing reaching up to 6 meters high and a meter wide, most of the vine growth happening at the beginning of the season until flowers begin. Cobaea is great for when you want a solid covering on a fence or wall but take care it is prone to encasing nearby plants.
Flowers: Blooms begin in mid to late summer and continue until autumn. Buds start out green as they start to open and quickly turn purple or white, they have a floral honey scent when fully open.
Care:  Rich soil is not necessary however some organic matter in the soil at the time of planting will help with growth. No further fertiliser is needed and in fact too much will inhibit blooms. Plant in a full sun location for best flower growth, young plants are cold sensitive so will need some protection. Water regularly taking care that the soil does not become waterlogged. Train them early and let them go, to control height pinch the stems when the vine reaches the maximum you want.

طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر في منتصف أو أخر فصل الصيف إلى فصل الخريف. عندما تظهر ورودها يكون لونها أخضر ثم تتحول للون البنفسجي أو الأبيض. تمتلك رائحة قريبة لراحئة العسل عندما تكون وروردها مفتوحة بشكل كامل.
العناية: تحب الشمس لأنها تساعدها على الإزهار بشكل كثيف.
