Common Name: Silver Bush
 
Habit:  Native to Spain and Italy this dense, evergreen shrub has a low mounding habit reaching up to 1.2 meters tall and wide. The leaves are oval, grey-green and covered in soft hairs giving it a silvery appearance.
Flowers:  From late spring through summer, clusters of trumpet shaped flowers appear, these blooms are white with a yellow throat and the buds are a soft delicate pink adding contrast.
Care: Silverbush is a very adaptable plant happy in any type of well draining soil.  Plant in full sun as it is very tolerant of hot and dry zones as well as frost. Prune back by half in winter to encourage fuller new growth in the spring.
