Common Name: Tickseed
 
Habit: This shrubby plant with shallowly lobed leaves is clump forming and reaches up to 45cm tall and 60cm wide.
Flowers: In the summer in autumn an abundance of golden yellow flowers are produced. Blooms are daisy-like and appear on long stalks above the plant, deadheading will encourage more flowers. Once the flowers turn to seed they become bird attracting.
Care:  Coreopsis bloom best in full sun but in particularly dry, hot areas would do well with some afternoon shade. Once established watering is only needed for extreme drought and fertilising is not necessary, in fact too much fertiliser will inhibit flower production.
