Common Name: Scorpion Vetch
 
Habit: Native to the Mediterranean area the Coronilla is an evergreen shrub growing up to 80cm tall with a spidery habit. The leaves are a grey-blue shade and drop shaped being pointed at the top and rounded toward the ends. 
Flowers: Midwinter through until spring clusters of up to 15 flowers form 'crowns' on stalks all over the plant. These yellow blooms send out a sweet pea fragrance during the daytime.
Care: Any soil is fine provided it is well drained and a sheltered, sunny position is preferred. Not much else needs to be done for this easy to grow plant aside from a good prune after flowering to retain shape.
 
Garden Uses:  Plant in beds, borders or containers. It is useful to prevent erosion on banks and slopes. Does very well alongside walls.

العناية: تفضل الأماكن التي تتعرض للكثير من الشمس. يفضل تقليمها بعد إزهارها للمحافظة على شكلها.
إستخداماتها في الحديقة: تزرع في الأحواض وعلى حدود الحديقة. تعتبر من النباتات المناسبة لمنع تعرية التربة. يمكن زراعتها بالقرب من الحائط.
