Common Name: Dahlia
 
Habit:  Deep or bright green lobed leaves on hollow stems.  Dahlias can reach up to 150cm tall.
Flowers: From midsummer to first frost tall stems produce colourful spiky flowers in a riot of colours.
Care:  Dahlias do not like cold soil so plant after the danger of frost has passed, they thrive in rich, well drained soil which is slightly acidic. Choose a full sun position as they need a good 6-8 hours of sunlight to maximise blooming.

العناية: تحب الكثير من أشعة الشمس لأن ذلك يساعدها على الإزهار.
