Common Name: China Pink Dianthus
 
Habit:  China Pink is a perennial native to northern China which grows up to 50cm tall and is often used for borders or potted displays.  Foliage is slender and sparsely spread on thick stems, leaves are narrow blue or grey/green.
Flowers:  In spring and summer blooms appear at the tops of wiry stems, these flowers have a spicy scent similar to cinnamon or cloves. Petals come in shades of white pink or red with notched petals.
Care: Dianthus likes Fertile, well drained, alkaline soil. Plant in full sun with a little afternoon shade and apply liquid fertiliser before the buds set on the plant. Cut back by a third after the first flush of blooms and the plant will spring back fuller and flower all over again.

طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر في فصل الربيع والصيف. تتميز الأزهار برائحتها التي تشبه رائحة القرفة ولونها الأبيض والوردي أو الأحمر.
العناية: تفضل المناطق التي تتعرض لأشعة الشمس وبعض الظل. يفضل تقليمها بعد إزهراها لأن ذلك يساعد على تقوية إزهارها.
