Common Name: Duranta
 
Habit:  Duranta is a bushy evergreen shrub perfect for hedging or a windbreak, reaching up to 2 meters high. The pendulous branches have a weeping habit.
Flowers:  From spring through to autumn flowers, appear at the ends of the branches. Blooms are deep blue with white trims and centres, followed by orange berries.  Duranta is bird and butterfly attracting with a lovely light perfume.
Care:  Duranta is drought tolerant and will adapt to almost any type of soil although it does best in a fertile well draining location. Vigorous pruning will encourage fuller growth and a better crop of flowers the next season.
