Common Name: Freesia
 
Habit:  Freesia bulbs throw up a tuft of narrow leaves 30cm long and a sparsely branched stem which is around 40cm long with a flower spike.
Flowers:  A loose one sided spike of flowers appears on the branched stem. Blooms make excellent cut flowers with their distinctive one sided style and lovely scent.
Care: Plant corms to a depth of 7cm with the pointed ends upward. Choose a well drained and well prepared soil, they look their best in groupings so plant accordingly.  Freesias thrive in dry conditions however water as needed during active growth periods. When blooming is finished leave the foliage in place until it goes yellow and dies, this allows the corm to strengthen for future growth.

طبيعة الزهرة: تتميز بشكلها وطريقة نموها المختلفة ورائحتها المميزة. مناسبة للإستخدام في تنسيق باقات الورد. 
العناية: تفضل التربة الجافة. عند إنتهاء فترة الإزهار من الأفضل ترك الأوراق حتى تصبح صفراء وتموت لأن ذلك يساعد على تقوية النبتة في المستقبل.
