Common Name: Cape Jasmine
 
Habit: Native to Asia this evergreen shrub has greyish bark and dark green shiny leaves with prominent veins. It grows up to 180cm tall and around 120cm wide.
Flowers: From spring through to summer white flowers appear with thick waxy petals. These double rosettes are highly fragrant and insect attracting. 
Care: Soil should be hummus rich, neutral to slightly acidic and well drained. Plant in a lightly shaded position and use a liquid fertiliser during the growing season.  Cape Jasmine is frost tender though some mulching may help with this. Prune to shape when dormant and deadhead regularly to keep the plant tidy and promote more flowering.

طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر منذ فصل الربيع لغاية فصل الصيف ورودا بيضاء تتميز برائحتها الفواحة.
العناية: تفضل المناطق المظلة. لا تحتمل الإنجماد. إزالة الورد الميت يساعدها على الإزهار بشكل أفضل.
