Common Name: Butterfly Bush
 
Habit: Gaura is a North American wildflower growing between 1 and 2 meters high and around 1m wide. This bushy perennial has toothed leaves on delicate stems.
Flowers: Flowers appear at the ends of tall graceful stems making them dance in the breeze and giving them their common name.  Flowers can appear in early summer and continue through to Autumn at which point they should be pruned right back to just above ground level. 
Care: They like well drained fertile soil and an open sunny position. Once established they need very little care.
