Common Name: Guava
 
Habit: Guava trees have a sturdy trunk covered in mottled greenish bark and a short wide canopy reaching a height of 6m tall. The leaves are serrated and around 20cm long.
Flowers: Blooms are white and around 3cm across which in turn become small oval shaped fruits
Care: Guava trees are very frost tender especially when young, though they cope a little better when older.  They do very well in any type of soil provided they have plenty of sunshine for good fruit and flower production. Fertilise every couple of months while the tree is young and three or four times per year for a mature tree. Choose a fertiliser with Nitrogen, phosphoric acid, potash and a little potassium.

العناية: لا تتحمل الإنجماد. يمكن زراعتها في أي نوع تربة. تفضل المناطق المشمسة.
