Common Name: Polka Dot Plant
 
Habit:  This vibrant shrub is well known for its spectacularly spotted foliage. Height gets to around 20 cm tall and because it displays its best colour in shaded areas/indirect light it can get leggy so needs to be kept trimmed. This also has the benefit of keeping the plant looking full.
Flowers: The flowers herald the end of the plants life cycle and are spikes of small tubular pink or blue blooms. However, they are not very showy and are easily overlooked around the showy foliage.
Care: These plants grow well indoors, provide temperatures of at least 16 degC and indirect light. Feed once per month
Outside they need well drained moist soil with plenty of organic matter and need no further feeding, keep in mind they are frost sensitive.

طبيعة النبتة: تتميز بجمال أوراقها الأخاذ حيث يمزج بين ألوان مشعة منقطة بألوان أخرى. قد يصل طولها ل25سم.
طبيعة الزهرة: تدل زهوروها على إنتهاء فترة حياتها.
العناية: تفضل المناطق المظللة ويمكن زراعتها داخل المنزل.
