Common Name: Clementine Mandarine
 
Habit: The Clementine is a hybrid between sweet orange and mandarin. They grow up to 5m tall, are compact, round and thorn free generally. Leaves are long and slender, their bright green a great backdrop for the bright orange fruit.
Flowers: The flowers appear in spring, are small and white, typical of citrus. The fruit is thin skinned and as the smallest of the mandarines it is only around 5cm in diameter growing wider than it is tall. Fruit is ready to harvest when it is fully orange.
Care: Clementines prefer full sun although they can manage in partial shade.  Sandy soil is best, it must be well draining. Do not fertilise for the first year after planting and then use a citrus fertiliser each spring. Clemtines are cold hardy down to -6degC.

طبيعة النبتة: يعتبر طعمها مزيجا بين طعم البرتقال والمندلينا. قد يصل طولها ل5م. دائرية الشكل مليئة بالأوراق ولا تملك أغصانها الأشواك.
طبيعة الزهرة: تظهر زهورها البيضاء الصغيرة في فصل الربيع. تملك ثمارها طبقة صغيرة من القشر.
العناية: تفضل الأماكن التي تحصل على الكثير من أشعة الشمس ولكنها لا تمانع القليل من الظل. تحتمل درجان الحرارة المنخفضة.
