Common Name: Stockflower or Gillyflower
 
Habit:  This sturdy annual well branched plant grows up to 75cm tall and has lance shaped foliage in a silvery green.
Flowers:  From spring through until summer highly attractive and fragrant blooms appear, they can be either single or double and appear in thick clusters of red, purple, blue or white.  Deadhead to encourage more blooms.
Care:  Soil needs to be moist and well drained, neutral or slightly alkaline. If temperatures are very cold plant in a protected area and mulch to protect the roots. Water regularly and feed lightly once a month.

طبيعة النبتة: قد يصل طولها ل75سم. وتتميز أوراقها بشكله الذي يشبه الرمح ولونها المائل للفضي.
طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر من فصل الربيع لغاية فصل الصيف. تتميز زهوروها بألوانها الجذابة مثل الأحمر والأزرق والأبيض والبنفسجي ورائحتها العبقة.
العناية: يجب زراعتها في مناطق محمية في الأماكن الباردة.
