Common Name: Lemon Balm
 
Habit: This member of the mint family has bright green leaves with a lemony scent. Lemon balm grows up to 91cm tall and makes a dome shaped mound.
Flowers: Flowers are tiny white bells but as this plant becomes invasive if allowed to seed they should be removed as they appear.
Care: Plant after danger of frost has passed in rich soil in a location with a little shade during the day. It will remain green during mild winters but if it begins to look tired from drought or other stress cut it back and let it grow back. Lemon Balm likes rich moist well drained soil with a little slow release fertiliser to compensate for harvesting.
