Common Name:  Coast Boobialla
 
Habit: An Australian native, Myoporum is a small tree or shrub growing up to 5 meters tall. The egg shaped leaves are alternate on the stems, a dull green on both the upper and lower sides and smooth.
Flowers:  In the spring and summer white blooms appear each with 5 petals bearing a purple spot at the base of each. The fruit is bird attracting and ripens to a deep purple or black shade.
Care:  Myoporum prefers a sandy soil and is drought and  salt tolerant once established. It can be damaged by severe frosts, but prune back in spring and it should recover. Locate in full sun or part shade.

طبيعة النبتة: تعتبر من الشجيرات الصغيرة التي قد يبلغ طولها 5م. تتميز أوراقها بشكلها البيضوي.
طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر في فصل الربيع وفصل الصيف ورودا تتحول لحبيبات وردية أو سوداء تجذب الطيور. 
العناية: : تفضل التربة الرملية وتتحمل الجفاف والتربة المالحة. لا تحتمل الإنجماد القارص. تفضل المناطق التي تحصل على الكثير من أشعة الشمس والقليل من الظل.
