Common Name: Pansy
Habit:  Pansies are great in containers or borders with their compact low habit reaching only 20cm tall and out to 30cm wide.
Flowers: Blooms appear in spring until early summer and can sometimes reappear in Autumn. The heart shaped, overlapping petals come in a wide variety of colours and sometimes bi-colours.  Remove faded or dead flowers to encourage more blooms.
Care: Pansies like sun but prefer cool temperatures, they tend to fade in the heat so a little shade in summer is helpful. Plant into well moist, hummus rich, well drained soil which has been prepared with some good compost.  Water regularly as drying out will make them fail and regularly use a liquid fertiliser.

العناية: تفضل المناطق المشمسة ولكن لا تحب المناطق الحارة لذلك بعض الظل قد يساعدها.
