Common Name:  Ivy Geraniums
 
Habit:  A native to South Africa the trailing geraniums are happy tumbling out of baskets or containers creating cascades of attractive foliage and flowers. The 5 lobed foliage is attractive all on its own with its bright green colour and meter wide trailing habit.
Flowers:  Blooms come in singles and doubles both in a variety of colours. Remember to deadhead as soon as flowers finish as production of blooms will decrease otherwise.
Care: Plant in partial shade in areas where the temperature gets above 27degC.  Keep away from strong winds as stems tend to be brittle and easy to break.  Consistent watering is very important, not too dry or too wet, keeping moisture levels moderate. Pinch off new stems regularly to encourage thicker growth and to shape them as they grow.

طبيعة النبتة: يمكن زراعتها في الأرض أو في سلات صغيرة. تتميز عن الأنواع الأخرى بقدرتها على تحمل الظروف الجوية المختلفة. تتميز بتعدد ألوان ورودها وأوراقها ذات اللون الأخضر الفاتح. 
طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر ورودا ذات طبقة واحدة أو طبقتين. إزالة الورد الميت يساعد على إزهارها بشكل أكثر.
العناية: تفضل الأماكن المشمسة التي تتعرض لبعض الظل.  لا تفضل المناطق التي تتعرض للكثير من الرياح.
