Common Name: Italian Parsley
 
Habit: Sturdy stems topped with flat deeply divided leaves, growing up to 35cm tall. Italian Parsley is a Biennial plant which means in the second year of growing it will flower, seed and die.
Flowers: Once the plant flowers the leaves turn bitter and are best not used so unless you want to harvest the seeds it is probably best to remove the plant once flowering commences.
Care:  Italian Parsley copes better in heat than the curly leaf variety and so does fine in hot summers, it also does very well in a container. Choose a light, well drained soil,  water deeply once a week and allow the water to drain away and the soil to dry between waterings. Use a balanced fertiliser in early spring.

طبيعة النبتة: تنمو لغاية 35سم. وتستخدم في الطبخ والسلطات.
 
طبيعة الزهرة: تصبح النبتة غير صالحة للإستعمال عندما تبدأ في الإزهار. والأفضل ان يتم إزالتها عندما تزهر ولكن يمكن جمع البذور.
 
العناية: يعتبر البقدونس الإيطالي أقوى من الأنواع الأخرى من حيث تحمل درجان الحرارة العالية وأشعة الشمس.
