Common Name: Petunia
 
Habit: Leaves are grey/green, textured with a velvet or fuzzy feel to them. Plants grow up to 45cm high and 30cm wide.
Flowers:  Blooms are large, soft and in pastel shades.
Care: Petunias thrive in hot climates but they do need to be kept well watered, ensuring that you do not drench the leaves and flowers. They like a well drained, fertile soil and it helps to fertilise once a month until flowering is advanced. Place where they will get plenty of direct sunlight during the day, as the plant grows pinch out the growing tips to encourage fuller growth and deadheading will ensure a bumper crop of blooms.
