Common Name: Petunia
 
Habit: Petunias are an annual plant with round, soft, hairy leaves in a grey-green colour. It has a spreading habit and is low growing reaching up to 25cm tall.  
Flowers: Intensely coloured, trumpet shaped flowers in a wide variety of colours.
Care: Petunias thrive in hot climates but they do need to be kept well watered, ensuring that you do not drench the leaves and flowers. They like a well drained, fertile soil and it helps to fertilise once a month until flowering is advanced. Place where they will get plenty of direct sunlight during the day, as the plant grows pinch out the growing tips to encourage fuller growth and deadheading will ensure a bumper crop of blooms.

العناية: تعتبر من النباتات سهلة العناية. تفضل الشمس وتزهر أكثر إذا كانت تحت أشعة الشمس المباشرة. إزالة الورود الميتة قد تساعد على كثرة الإزهار.
