Common Name: Aleppo Pine
 
Habit:  A Native to the Mediterranean region this small to medium tree grows up to 20m tall. The bark is greyish and thick at the base while thinner and flaky at the top of the tree. The needles are long and thin, growing in pairs they are a yellowish green in colour. This tree has an irregular shape and given this tree provides a lot of shade plan for shade plantings underneath it.
Flowers:  The cones are long and thin to begin with and slowly open over the course of 2 years.
Care: This tree is excellent in a hot, dry location with plenty of space.  Any type of soil is fine provided it is well draining, make sure it gets a few waterings a month especially while establishing.  Pruning is not necessary except to remove dead or damaged branches.

طبيعة النبتة:  قد يصل طولها ل20م. يتزين لحائها باللون الفضي ويتميز بخمله في أسفل الشجرة ورقته في أعلاها. تعرف بشكلها الغير منتظم وتوفيرها للظل في المنطقة المحيطة بها لذلك إذا أردت زراعة نباتات أسفلها فيجب زرع نباتات تتطلب الظل. 
طبيعة الزهرة: تثمر نباتات مخروطية الشكل ولكنها تتفتح عندما تنمو. قد تستغرق سنتين لتنمو.
العناية: مناسبة جدا لزراعة في المناطق الجافة ذات المساحات الواسعة. لا تمانع أي نوع من التربة.
