Common Name: Variegated Mint leaf
 
Habit: A widespread groundcover native to south Africa, the Variegated Mint leaf grows up to only 30cm high but can spread as far as 3m wide. It has mint scented, heart shaped leaves, green with creamy yellow variation along the edges. 
Flowers: Late summer to Autumn displays blue tubular flowers on spikes.
Care: Keep in a semi-shade position with dappled light at most, Plecanthrus does as well in a hanging basket as in the garden. Plant into improved soils and water regularly. Keep either under glass or in a sheltered position as this plant does not survive frost well.

طبيعة النبتة: تستخدم كغطاء أرضي وتعرف بشكل ورقها الموشح القريب لشكل ورق النعنع. يصل طولها تقريبا ل30سم ولكن عرضها قد يصل ل3م.
طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر في اّخر فصل الصيف والخريف ورودا زرقاء.
العناية: تفضل المناطق التي تحصل على الكثير من الظل والقليل من أشعة الشمس.
