Common Name: Sweet pea shrub
 
Habit: Polygala is an evergreen compact shrub reaching up to 1m in height. The leaves are a mid-green, small and narrow. It can make a very good hedging plant.
Flowers: Small purple flowers appear in the Spring and stay through to Autumn.
Care: Plant into well drained soil in a full sun or part shade position and use a slow release fertiliser. Once established this plant is very hardy and drought tolerant. Trimming after flowering will keep the Polygala compact and tidy.
