Common Name: Citrus Maximus
 
Habit: Native to south and south east Asia the Pomelo is a citrus growing up to 8 meters tall. Its dense leafy canopy is umbrella shaped and makes a good screen or shade tree.  The  medium green leaves are oval shaped and shiny. 
Flowers: In the spring fragrant, showy white flowers appear followed by fruit which is up to 30cm across. The fruit has a greenish yellow, thick peel which is easily removed to reveal sweet/tart flesh.
Care:  Any type of soil is fine provided it is well draining and moist. Locate in full sun and ensure the plant is watered at least once per week. Keep the area around the base free of weeds and use a citrus fertiliser according to directions.

طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر ورودا ذات رائحة في فصل الربيع تتميز بلونها الأبيض التي تتحول لفاكهة. تتميز الفاكهة بقشرها السميك الأخضر المائل للأصفر.
العناية: يمكن زرعها في أي نوع تربة. تفضل المناطق التي تتعرض للكثير من أشعة الشمس.
