Common Name: Banks Rose
 
Habit:  Banks rose is a chinese native rambler, it has no thorns and it's long, elegant canes are easy to train and shape. They need to be grown on a trellis or frame of some sort and get up to 6mx3m.The evergreen leaves are smooth edged and 4-6cm long.
Flowers: The white or pale yellow flowers are small only up to 2.5cm wide and appear in early spring although very cold weather can delay their flowering.
Care:  Plant in moderately fertile, well drained soil and in a sunny position. Mulch in the summer to retain moisture and apply a balanced fertiliser late winter/early spring. Prune immediately after flowering is finished.
