Common Name: Rosemary
 
Habit:  A Mediterranean native, Rosemary is a creeping perennial herb reaching up to 30cm high and a spread of over 2 meters if left unchecked.  The highly aromatic leaves are a grey green in colour, small and narrow similar to pine needles.  Prostrate Rosemary makes an excellent ground cover and looks amazing falling over retaining walls.
Flowers: From midsummer to early autumn a profusion of light purple flowers appear all over the plant.
Care: Any type of soil is fine provided it was well draining as they do not do well if their roots are sodden. Rosemary requires very little care once established, it is drought tolerant and only requires an annual application of slow release 10-10-10 fertiliser worked into the base of the plant.

طبيعة النبتة: تعرف بجمال تمددها وإنتشارها حيث قد يصل طولها ل30سم وعرضها لمترين. تتميز أوراقها بلونها الفضي. يمكن إستخدامها كغطاء أرضي.
طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر من منتصف الصيف لبداية فصل الخريف ورودا بنفسجية صغيرة. 
العناية: تعرف بتحملها للجفاف. لا تتطلب الكثير من العناية.
