Common Name: Black eyed susan
 
Habit: Rudbeckia grows up to 45cm high with stout branching stems. Leaves are alternate in pairs up the stem each up to 18cm long and covered in coarse hair.
Flowers: Blooms appear from midsummer to frost. Flowers are mahogany red with golden orange tips and a deep purple to black cone in the centre. Deadhead to encourage blooms and prevent selfseeding.
Care: Plant in a full sun location, Rudbeckia will do well in any soil provided it is well drained and not too wet.  Very low maintenance, this plant is drought tolerant.

طبيعة الزهرة: تظهر من منتصف الصيف حتى إنخفاض درجات الحرارة بشكل كبير. تتميز بألونها المميزة حيث تمزج بين اللون الأحمر الداكن في المنتصف والأطراف البرتقالية.
العناية: تفضل المناطق المشمسة وتنمو في المناطق التي تتعرض لبعض من الظل. تعرف بتحملها للجفاف. إزالة الورد الميت يساعد النبتة على الإزهار مجددا.
