Common Name: Mexican Petunia
 
Habit: Native to Mexico this evergreen shrub reaches up to 1 meter tall and has a spreading habit reaching 1 meter wide. The leaves are long and narrow, dark green with a hint of purple.
Flowers: From mid spring through the first frosts of autumn the Ruellia puts forth purple or blue funnel shaped flowers similar to petunias.
Care: Soil needs to be well drained, but consistently moist. Plant in full sun to gain the best from the flowers and mulch well in spring.

طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر من منتصف فصل الربيع لغاية أول إنجماد في فصل الخريف. تتميز ورودها باللون البنفسجي والأزرق وشكلها الشبيه بورود البتونيا.
العناية: تفضل الأماكن التي تتعرض للكثير من الشمس.
