Common Name: Fairy fan flower
 
Habit: An eastern Australia native, Scaveola reaches 30cm high and trails out to 1.5 meters. Scaevola is excellent as a ground cover, hanging basket or trailing over walls. Foliage is light green and coarsely toothed on fleshy stems.
Flowers: From spring through autumn blue or purple blue flowers appear in abundance. These blooms are shaped like tiny fans all along the stems of the plant.
Care: Soil should be loamy, slightly acidic and well draining. Enrich with compost and peat for best results.  Choose a full sun location for best flowering, Scaevola is drought tolerant but does best if watered. If growing in containers do not allow to dry out unless overwintering indoors. During the growing season apply half strength liquid fertiliser.

طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر منذ فصل الربيع لغاية فصل الخريف ورودا جميلة تتزين باللون الأزرق أو البنفسجي.
العناية: تفضل الأماكن التي تتعرض للكثير من الشمس. تعتبر من النباتات المقاومة للجفاف ولكنها تزهر بشكل أفضل إذا حصلت على كم وفير من الماء.
