Common Name: Cape Ivy or Climbing Groundsel
 
Habit: Native to South Africa, Cape ivy is a dense tangled shrub up to 2 meters tall or a climber up to 6 meters. The glossy leaves are bluntly lobed, thick and fleshy. 
Flowers: From late autumn through winter flowers appear at the ends of the stems. The blooms are yellow, daisy-like and appear in open clusters.
Care:  Best grown in sandy soil and a sunny position. Once established Cape Ivy is very drought tolerant only requiring some water during summer. Lightly fertilise annually and prune as needed to keep the plant tidy.

طبيعة النبتة: تعتبر من النباتات كثيفة الأوراق التي قد يصل طولها ل2م ولكن إذا أستخدمت كمتسلقة قد يصل طولها ل6م.
طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر من اّخر فصل الخريف إلى فصل الشتاء. تتميز ورودها بلونها الأصفر وشكلها الشبيه بالإقحوان.
العناية: تفضل التربة الرملية والمناطق التي تتعرض للكثير من الشمس. تعتبر من النباتات المقاومة للجفاف.
