Common Name: Pink Agapanthus
Habit: A South African native, Tulbaghia is a fast growing perennial shrub which grows up to 75cm tall. The leaves are narrow, garlic scented and are also edible being useful in soups and salads. Large umbels of fragrant lilac flowers in summer and early autumn
Flowers:  From late spring until Autumn tall spikes appear topped with umbels of fragrant lilac flowers. 
Care:  Soil needs to be loamy, well drained and moderately fertile. Tulbaghia are heat and drought tolerant, removing spent flower stems will promote more blooms.
They grow well in terracotta pots on the patio and can be planted in the rockery or small border permanently.

طبيعة النبتة:  تعرف بسرعة نموها. قد يصل طولها ل75سم. تعرف أوراقها بضعفها ورائحتها الشبيه برائحة الثوم. 
طبيعة الزهرة: تزهر في نهاية فصل الربيع حتى فصل الخريف زهورا أرجوانية ذات رائحة تنمو على ساق.
العناية: تعرف بتحملها للجفاف والحرارة العالية. إزالة الورد الميت تساعد النبتة على الإزهار كثيرا.
